Justice Served
Well lookie there! The debutante will not only being going back but the judge upped the ante to the original 45 days. Good show. I hereby withdraw my suggestion of letting the Islamowhackjobs stone her. Pity a woman who has to wait that long in life for her first setback. Sucks to be her, this time.
In another serving of justice something remarkable happened in the Senate, they actually bowed to the will of the people! What a week, but don't celebrate too soon. The immigration plan is not as dead as it is playing possum. Better turn around and run it over a few more times just to make sure.
Perhaps our betters in Washington will realize that stepped up enforcement promised in a new law doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot when the law actually passed last time, as in Oct 2006 authorizing 850 mile fence, has had exactly zero enforcement. I only wonder which mindset prevails; either we are completely stupid or just not paying attention. In this case, neither.
Hats off to talk radio and the blogosphere for this turn of events. But start the pool on when they will try to regulate those as a result.
All in all though, any time congress gets a harsh reminder that they are here to serve us, and not the other way around, is a good day for representative republicanism.
