One looks like it could be on MTV, the other on Lawrence Welk.  

Matt Lewis at hughhewitt.com was making a big deal over the fact that McCain was framed by moderates Sen Warner on his left and Rep Davis on his right.   

Like I said there, in contest between an empty suit with style and a senior citizen with substance, the celebrity crazed culture will go with style every time.  But don't get me wrong, I have serious, so serious I can't vote for him, misgivings about the composition of McCains substance - - but at least he has some. 

The other thing I was wondering about, and speaking of unapologetic moderates, is the whereabouts of our old friend Marshall "Bull Moose" Whitman.  He gave up his excellent blog to work for McCain and it sure looks like his fingerprints all over McCain's appeal.  My guess he wasn't anticipating a crossover tsunami like Obama when he signed on.
