Of Race and Gender

My good liberal friend is beside herself, unable to support Obama because he is such a lightweight.  Truth is she doesn't care for men much and is probably a fairly accurate representative of hard core feminists who are all beside themselves in watching this smooth talking male pull the rug out from under their gal.

Never mind the fact the only reason their "feminist" candidate is even in the contest is because of her husbands coattails, and to hear Chris Matthews tell it, his zipper.

More than anything else in this election watching the inclusive party divide itself is definitely the most enjoyable.  Blacks against hispanics, women against men, they've got it all.

The photo I posted yesterday has since been verified as authentic, i.e. not photoshopped, and circulated by the Clinton campaign.  Then, in an amazing display of gall they slam the Obama camp for saying the photo is divisive.

This is all just fun and games for now but you just know, regardless of who wins the Democrat nomination, and if they lose to McCain it will be because the country is either racist of sexist.  Check out this headline from the Nation, the premiere liberal magazine, from its website; John McCain May be Old, but He's Still the White Guy

You got that?  The possibility that 50% plus 1 might actually agree with McCain on the issues isn't even a possibility because, everyone knows, GOP/conservatives are racist misogynists.  If their guy or gal wins it's because of a newly enlightened electorate and if they don't it's because they are a black or a woman.  Seems to me if they seriously believed this they would have put up a white male.

It will interesting to see if they die by the divisiveness that they seem to live by.  Up until recently it has been said over and over that the single most factor that could unify the GOP is Hillary Clinton.  If the Clinton camp's smear campaign against Obama does enough damage he will look bad enough not only to unify the GOP but also to scare a lot of fence-sitters.  So, though not in the way he intended, Obama really does offer some hope after all.
