An Obama mouthpiece making the rounds on Sunday talk shows had this to say about the candidate resigning from his church;

I think obviously what Barack Obama made in the past few days is a deeply personal, not a political decision.

Uh, yeah, OK, I guess, if by that you mean winning the election is a personal, not a political, goal. 

Sheesh.  The more I watch the more I am convinced they take us for morons.  Problem is every vote validates the take.
