There are Three Kinds of Lies, Damn Lies, Bald Faced Lies and ...

... statistics

I get so sick of MSM bludgeoning Republicans with right track / wrong track polls, cause ya know, it's all Bush's fault, naturally.  Funny thing is though, his approval numbers have been in the tank ever since it looked like we were going to stay in Iraq for more than a month back n 2003, and yet the right track / wrong track numbers keep getting worse.  So it got me wondering, look at these statistics and see if you can tell what I'm getting at....
                    Right      Wrong     Unsure

October 2006     29         64           7

October 2008     7           89           4

The plunge in right track numbers corresponds directly with the plunge in Congressional approval so yeah, you can count me in, I don't think America is on the right track either, but it has nothing to do with Bush, and everything to do with congress.  We are on the wrong track so long as the likes of Barney "Fannie Mac' Franks, Chris "Countrywide" Dodd, Charlie "Tax Lien" Rangel and Chuck Schumer are anywhere near the economic levers of government.

Media bias is just as much a matter of what they choose to ignore as it is the language they use to report it. You'd be hard pressed to find a better example of agenda journalism than the constant implication that everything is Bush's fault while ignoring single digit congressional approval numbers.  Dare I speculate that anyone who considers Obama qualified to be President would be perfectly willing to accept this as mere coincidence.

Speaking of numbers I found this to be somewhat hopeful, providing that term hasn't been trademarked by "The One".
...during the Democratic primaries this year, preliminary exit polls overestimated Obama's strength in 18 of 20 states, by an average error of 7 percentage points.

So as the Delaware Gaffamatic said during the debate "past is prologue", this, along with a narrowing of the polls by Rasmussen, Gallop et. al., especially in Ohio and Florida, things are not so bleak for the GOP as they would like us to believe.

Speaking of Slo Joe Biden, how about that prediction?  "Mark my words, there will be a world crisis to test a young President Obama" or somesuch.  Uh, thanks for making so clear to the rest of the world just exactly why Obama scares us.  And why mince words, why soft-peddle with terms like "world crisis" when you are saying massive killings are a certainty if your guy wins?

I am not sure telling your supporters that a lot of innocent people are likely to die if they vote for you is good strategy, but I do so appreciate the candor.  That's been our concern since February so, again, thanks for pointing that out.

Maybe I shouldn' be so hard on old Slo Joe Fizz, I mean maybe, in some sort of patriotic epiphany he suddenly realized that Obama might actually win this thing, and this is his attempt to save those lives by throwing the election to McCain!  (do I have a knack for seeing the better angels in people or what?) If so I say blather on old man, keep up the good work.

The comparison of Sara Palin's intellect and fitness for office with this moron is quite possibly the worst insult she has suffered.
